Julia Juice Tsile, 24 year old young lady from Kanye is the model to look out for ,she is currently raising modeling waves in the country and Africa,already her travels as a model have taken her to south Africa where she took part at Africa fashion week (AFW) and Tanzania where she took part at the swahili fashion week.... she has worked with Tanzanian fashion designers Mustafa Hassanali and Eskado bird .. Locally she has worked with the likes of Mpho Laing,koketso Chiepe and she took part at the COLOUR IN THE DESERT FASHION WEEK,GABORONE FASHION NITE and BOTSWANA FASHION WEEK ..this young lady is definitely Botswana's next supermodel

.What made you first become a model?

  Being selected as a runner up for Botswana’s  representative Nokia face of Africa 2006,then i knew i was model material.

.How did you feel when you did your first ever fashion show or photo shoot?

I felt proud of myself when i did a shoot for Lapologa Magazine....

.How do you feel about the controversy of the size 0 debate in the industry?

 I get intimidated because i am not skinny myself,i aggresively believe we should be allowed to embrace our bodies just the way they are,especially Africans,we have different exotic bodies in different sizes. 

.What are your guilty pleasures food wise?

Anything with chocolate works for me...

.What beauty tips do you swear by?

·         Never sleep with make up on

·         Never drink alcohol if you have a shoot or show

If a young girl wanted to be a model what would your advice for them be?

·         Firstly,finish school

·         Its painful to tell a young girl with those dreams that they dont fit the criteria

·         Get a professional photographer to do a portfolio for you and that its not just the glitz and glam

Unique, colourful and stylish...

2. What is your favourite pattern in clothes?

I’ve been experimenting wit a lot more prints recently… florals, houndstooth and of course my favorite ANIMAL PRINT!! 

3. Which FIVE clothes item would you save from a burning fire?

Omg I have no idea! Probably all of the jewellery i made fo myself, my pants..... ? Aaaaaargh. Now you've got me thinking

4. who is your personal fashion icon?

 I stand out as my own fashion icon in my own right. Ad say I have a unique luk unto myself nd stylish. I push the boundaries of fashion and neva settle 4 simple or predictable.

5. yOUR FAVORITE FASHION STORES?

Mr Price, da budgt store 4 designer clothes,a veri wide range 4 ladies nd gentlemn,alwys a masive amnt of stuff on so u neva wait arnd in queue’s nd oh!!!! so cheap,you can get a full outfit for P200.

YDE @ Joburg. It has mst expensve clothes but there's only about 10 f evrythin made,so I knw if i buy smething dr m not  likely to see som1 els wearing my outfit... Not forgeting my Jozi CHINESE SHOPS ko Park Station... hehehehehe!!

6. Who’s the worst dressed person in your opinion?

Chamer Gal.. shes beautiful, she's talented, but she's got the dress sense of a boiled turnip. chek her videos, attend her shows, ul undersatnd what am talking about. Am not hating on da lady... but!! its a NEHHH!! NEEGGHH nd a big NO!! disguistin.. dont forget, Chahlovei tels it lyk it is!! is t a crime??? 

8. Which beauty items can’t you live without?

Camphor, tha skin doctor, which is an amazing skincare system I use.. hahahahaha!

9. WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE DESIGNER AND WHY?

Mmmm... Dificult question. I think I don't have any specific favourite designer. I usually love my niggah, Shanti Lo's designs, but he sumtyms design things I really hate... Becos f that, it's very comon for me having onli favourite items or stuff of different designers, not only a favourite one!  

10. What’s the worst outfit you’ve ever worn?

 A lot of people look back ten years ago and go, “Why was I wearing that!?” I look back a year ago and say the same thing. The craziest outfit I ever wore was the yellow baloon dress, purple machesa and sum crazy long earigs.. it was at a wedding in Molepolole. It was interesting. It popped. I think I styled myself that day… kwakwakwakwa!

11.WHATS THE MOST EXPENSIVE ITEM IN YOUR CLOSET?

 I don't really have anything too expensive. I'm guessing my P1 700 silver shiny evening dres is the most expensive thing.. ke cheap tota..

12. FASHION DOS AND DONT?
 God damn! di dintsi tota Goitse. check them fashion blogs, read those fashion dos n don'ts.

13. any fashion advice?

I'd say, many women, including me, would choose fashion over comfort.. But still, make sure you carry a back-up pair of shoes with you, and please don't torture your feet for very long, no matter how sexy or awesome the shoes are!
AND if you dont wanna see yourself as a fashion criminal/offender on my face-book page, HONESTLY W.T.F then do what is right. Chahlove is watching you!!

Shoe Storages

If you are a shoe addict like me (i have like 30 stilettos,20 of which are still brand new,6 flats,1 all star converse, 3 pairs of boots,4 brogues,5 sandals and 2 pairs of sleepers) then  you should get yourself a nice shoe storage.... these are some of my favorites ,i love them cos they are simple cute and if your room is the size of a college dormitory  room then these are just what you need.......

VINTAGE SHOPS, jewerly box, AROUND TOWN:)here and there..

NO ONE IS ever dressed horribly.It’s always a voice. No voice is Ugly. JUST that some voices are squueeeky.but I promise. No fashion Voice is ugly, just squeaky.(but wena..ee..emisa..eseng wena Goitse)

Alexandra McQueen- he got a GaTsh Gene.HE IS IT.HE DOES IT FOR ME.quirky,different, odd, weird,..Marc Jacobs..South-African Gertz- Johan Coetzee..he’s mix and miss,FUN.

K-BOS and Beats BARE MY BROWN raincoat like COAT..  MY MUM ARE MY DAD’S over-sized TWEED JERSEY and peter pans.i mix and miss deliberately..i feed off that. So DON’T THINK I DONT KNOW WHAT AM WEARING.I DO.i see voices, I hear faces

Style goes beyond the hanger you touch.Mix and miss. Reinventing, Renew your thinking. DO not conform. ITS SUPPOSED TO BE FUN.Fashion to me is about the ‘what ’and ’where’, style is about the “how”. there is no item that is stylish in of itself, style falls on how u put things together. Clothes don't have style, the person makes the style. . Fashion is not something to be followed sheepishly, it is however, something to be set, select from or totally reject. . Style is letting your imagination run away with you.
