4. who is your personal fashion icon?
Olivia Palermo and SP from My Style Pantry
5. YOUR FAVORITE FASHION STORES?
Zara, Woolies, Mr. Price, Forever New, H&M, Topshop, ASOS and Maria McCloy's stall at Arts on Main.
6. Who's the worst dressed person in your opinion?
Sonia Booth. Beautiful lady but goodness her looks can do with some touching up.
7. Which beauty items can't you live without?
Eye liner and lipgloss.
8. WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE DESIGNER AND WHY?
Yves Saint Laurent for his class and elegant touch to his pieces.
9. What's the worst outfit you've ever worn?
Purple jumpsuit, it looks like a PJ. lol
10.WHATS THE MOST EXPENSIVE ITEM IN YOUR CLOSET?
My GUCCI handbag (the real thing)
11. FASHION DOS AND DONT?
DON'T: do Leggings with a crop top or any top just above the waist, camel toe isn't sexy. LOL! If you want to try pull off this look then I suggest toning up extensively.
DO: one can never go wrong with a white vest, a pair of blue denim jeans, add chunky accessories for a bit of sprucing up, heels and a blazer.
12. any fashion advice?
Don't try too hard to be different, try not to follow trends that much.
Be in the know but careful not to fall under the fashion victim category. You don't have to have every single trendy item.
Keep it simple! and invest in a timeless piece.
Be yourself and go with what best fits your persona and body type.

Fashionista Of The Week ; Nina Hanekom-Nortje
1. Describe your style in three words.
Girly, overdone and experimental
2. What is your favourite pattern in clothes?
Probably leopard print, but tribal print is really growing on me
3. Which FIVE clothes item would you save from a burning fire?
My black t-bar heels from Rage, my black LBD from Mr Price, my beige crochet heels from Edgars and any 2 of my many statement necklaces from Sass Diva. It's amazing how many looks you can get from a basic dress and statement accessories.
4. who is your personal fashion icon?
I have so many because I'm addicted to fashion blogs, but at the moment I get so many outfit ideas from Julie Sardinana from Sincerely, Jules. She makes casual outfits look super trendy, which is something I would like to be able to do.
5. Your favorite fashion Stores?
I die for Mr Price and Sass Diva. Definitely my two favorites.
6. Who’s the worst dressed person in your opinion?
I can't really think of people that dress badly, rather people that don't dress according to my style
12. Any fashion advice?
The only real advice that I have is to find a style that suits you and emphasize it. Focus on what you love about yourself and do what you can to accentuate it.

Model Of The Week; Boitumelo Refilwe Mongwaketse

I always got the occassional, "you have the body for it, the height and style for it" so i started entering beauty pageants like Miss Botswana and also Miss Universe Botswana where i got selected for top 24. But my defining moment was after I got scouted in Sandton,Jhb which really made me take it up seriously!
HOW DID YOU FEEL WHEN DID YOUR FIRST FASHION SHOW OR PHOTO SHOOT?
I actually underestimated it. Its was such an eye-opener but it was quiet fun. One has to really have the confidence and to be in the right state of mind, and that confidence will manifest in your photos and your walk.
HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT THE CONTROVERSY OF THE SIZE 0 DEBATE IN THE INDUSTRY?
Size doesnt determine ones beauty, its in self-confidence that only one would be able to make it in this industry. Im thankful for having a choice and that being a modern woman allows me to think for myself and not have the world dictate such things to me.
WHAT ARE YOUR GUILTY PLEASURES FOOD WISE?
Pizza and chocolate
